MTC Goodbye - Devin and Tyson

Brothers - Devin and Tyson hugging at the curb at the MTC. Very last family goodbye before heading inside.

Off He Goes...

Here's Tyson at the Denver Airport -looking quite a bit like a missionary I'd say!

After the security check, you can view through a glass dome as the passengers head down the escalator toward the train to the terminals. This is my very last view as I sent him off to serve the Lord. "Go Forth With Faith" ... Love you Bud!

Sad Goodbyes

Final good-byes are always the hardest! Tyson has been extremely close to Britnee and the kids, being part of their everyday life. He's built a very dear and special bond with them all. The night before Tyson left, Brailee was saying her bedtime prayers when she asked Heavenly Father to bless Tyson - and then she broke down in tears and was crying so hard she was losing her breath. Tyson went to her bed and held her for quite some time before she settled down. These are special memories! Brailee will be 7 before Tyson returns, Daiken will be 5, and Estee will be 4. Lots of changes will happen in those two years.

MTC TRADITION!

Eating at Brickyard on the way to the MTC... It's tradition!!! It started with Devin, continued with Chelsee, today with Tyson. Devin says, "The next time I'll eat there is when Daiken leaves on his mission" (giggle - Daiken is only three years old) This photo is from an IPhone... Tyson looks sooooo young! Yikes!

Preparing for MTC

Off goes the hair! Britnee doing the official "missionary haircut"... cut it shorter now and he won't need his next haircut quite so soon.

Here's Tyson sitting at Devin's home watching the pre MTC videos. Looks so studious sitting there and not sacked out on the couch!
